Ribbon

Ribbon, stemming from the circular movement of a tornado, explores the interaction of a rigid internal structure and the organic external veneer. The process of which this piece was fabricated began with no measurement, just a central line that then branched off in each direction creating a structure to guide the wooden form. Interested by the use of limited amounts of material to interact with a vast amount of space, Ribbon guides the viewer towards continuous movement in a dimension of space.
